Finally... A new post!!

Well.. I said that I would post when the baby got here and guess what!!?? He is 3 months old today!! Things got a little busier with doing preschool with Noah, school with Emma, a new baby, planning activities for our Awana's group and etc. But anyways..

Here is here and he is PERFECT!! I could not imagine our lives without him. I can not believe that he is 3 weeks months today.Where has the time gone? Noah is doing great with him!!:) I will try my hardest to update more often now!!:) We shall see lol!!:) Maybe I will start trying to do Menu Mondays again.

Adoption Timeline

11/2015 Saw Sarah on a waiting child Facebook page/video

12/26/2014 Sent a letter of intent to adopt Sarah

1/20/2016 Heard that we were matched with her in the China system.

1/20/2016 Began the paper work chase.

4/4/2016 First home study visit

4/16/2016 Ben's home study visit

4/19/2016 Brandi's home study visit

4/23/2016 Home check and visit with the kids
5/12/2016 Proofed rough draft of home study

5/16/16 Homestudy approved by our agency

6/1/16 I800-a mailed to USCIS

6/9/16 reviewed receipt In the mail with a lockbox date of 6/2/16

6/16/16 Received fingerprint apts for 6/24/16

6/24/16 Fingerprint apt. Now we await USCIS approval and dossier authentication.

6/29/16 Documents mailed to Washington DC and Houston to be authenticated and certified.

6/30/16 I800A approval. Wait on approval letter.

6/5/16 Got approval letter in mail it had wrong date. Ben called on 6/6/16 to get a new letter sent.

6/13/16 Our agency received our new i800A letter with the correct date. All of our Alabama documents were sent to the Secretary of State in Montgomery and our AZ documents were sent to CA for certification.

6/26/16 Documents back from U.S. Consulate

6/27/16 DTC(documents to China to be translated)
10/10/16 We got our hard copy of our LSC and I800 in the mail.
10/10/16 Mailed I800 off to TX USCIS and our signed LSC back to our agency.

11/21/16 i800 approval

12/12/16 Article 5 Drop off

12/27/16 Article 5 pick up

12/30/16 Art 5 dropped off at CCCWA- wait for TA.

1/6/17 Travel Approval
