Hope all of you had a great week last week, good weekend and off to a good start this week!!:) We are very busy this week with school, dr apts, getting stuff ready for Noah's party, and family arriving!!:)


This is our menu for this week:

Monday- Crockpot chicken tacos, mexican rice, orange slices and muffins

Tuesday- Meatball subs, sweet potatoe fries and fruit salad

Wednesday- Lemon Lime Chicken, rice, mixed veggies and fruit

Thursday- Vegetable beef stew, corn bread and fruit

Friday- Grocery shopping and out to eat with family

Sat- Noah's party- Hotdogs, chips and dip, veggie and dip and cupcakes

Sunday- Noah's dedication- Out to eat with family

Menu Monday!!

Well so far so good!!:) Everything has gone really well so far with homeschooling!! Today was a little tough because Noah is not feeling well but we made it!!


This is what our menu for these weeks dinners look like:

 Monday- Spaghetti, bread, mixed veggies and fruit

Tuesday-Homemade hambuger mac and cheese, corn on cob, veggies

Wednesday- Vegetable soup, corn bread, fruit

Thursday- Chicken parmesean, pasta, brocoli, fruit, bread sticks

Friday- Homemade meatball subs, sweet potatoe fries, fruit

Saturday- B-day party

Sunday- Hamburgers, sweet pot fries, pasta salad, fruit

We did it!!:)


Hello Friends! 
Hope everyone had a great weekend! We did!! We had lot of activities at church and a b-day party that we went too!! 
 
Well.. We did it!! We started our first official day of 1st grade at home yesterday. Noah went to Mdo yesterday as well. Today we did Tot School too!!:) So far so good!
Hope all of you are having a great week. Once I get use to the swing of things I will start Menu Mondays back up!!:)

Here is a look at our menu for this weeks dinner-

Monday- Pizza, corn, fruit
Tuesday- Grilled chicken, rice, brocoli, lima beans, fruit
Wednesday- Lasagna, salad, green beans, fruit
Thursday-Hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, fruit
Friday-Shrimp scampi, brocoli, corn, rice and fruit
Saturday-hotdogs, sweet potatoe fries, fruit

Friday Fun!

I hope everyone had a blessed week! 
I have been getting our office/craft room organized to make it also our home school room! I am excited! I am nervous but I Think this is what God wants me to do!!:) I have lots of fun stuff planned for us! Field trips, fun workbooks, games, flash cards, classes at some local museums,classes in Wednesday at a local church co-op such as art and music gymnastics,  bible study for the kiddos and me!!:) The bible class I am doing is Five Conversations every Christian Mom should have with their Daughter!!  


 I would like to ask for your prayers though!! I pray God gives me the strength, wisdom and knowledge to teach Emma things she will enjoy and needs to know!!:)

Menu Monday

The last few weeks have been very busy and crazy with Emma having surgery and Ben being out of town! I am back:) 

This week this is what our meals look like for the week! 

Monday- Baked Chicken, rice, lima beans, squash and pears
Tuesday- Spaghetti, mixed veggies, salad, orange slices

Wednesday- Hamburger steak, home made mashed potatoes, home made mac and cheese, peas and homemade angel food cake with strawberries and whip cream
Thursday-Shrimp scampi, baked potatoe, brocoli, corn, peaches

Friday- Turkey Smoked sausage, wheat buns, homemade french fries, pasta salad, fruit salad 

Everything I make these days are lowfat so if you are interested in a recipe- Let me know!


I would like to ask everyone to pray for Emma and I as we get ready to begin our journey with homeschooling!)

Happy 4th of July!!:)

Hi everyone! I wanted to wish all of you Happy 4th of July! Hope you spent it with the ones you loved!! On Friday night we took Emma and her cousin bowling! My Mom kept Noah so Emma got some Mommy and Daddy time! We Went Swimming on Saturday and today the kids and I went swimming for a bit then we all went to My Aunts for a cookout and to watch the neighborhood fireworks.
We have a busy next couple of weeks coming up! Emma is having surgery on Thursday to have her tonsils adnoids out and tubes put in her ears!! I will probably be pretty busy with all of the and Ben being out of town the next week after her surgery as well.
